this is one of my favorite songs of all time, 'california' by loudermilk, who later became gosling. too bad the band broke up. i love everything about this song, the singer's voice, the music, the chorus, and especially the bridge-which begins with the line 'he is beautiful and a whore' which starts at the 4:40 mark in the video below. i love the sound of his voice throughout that entire part. see the lyrics below the video-
